(5/5) Hello fellow investors. I am a Canadian, who has recently invested in some land in the Xpu Ha residential resort community. My realtor, Mike Sabet, informed me of this investment opportunity in the very early stages of this development. Mike assured me that these reputable builders would complete this project and as the project completed, this investment would gain in value quickly. He was absolutely right!! The value of the land has rapidly gone up in value. It is honestly one the best investments I have made. Mike has also been incredibly helpful in getting all the legal documents necessary to complete this purchase. I would have been lost without his help. Now that the deed in legally in my possession, Mike is now guiding me through the process of getting a home built. For any foriegn investor looking for a trustworthy realtor I would highly recommend Mike Sabet's expertise in this field. I would also be glad to speak to any Canadian or other foreign investor on his behalf. Thank you greatly Mike!!

(5/5) Libia Zárate has been an exceptional real estate sales rep on two properties we bought and will be closing soon in Tulum. We have had a wonderful experience with Libia. She is very committed to helping us in a very professional manner. We have met with her in Playa del Carmen and in Tulum in several occasions during the purchase of the two rental units. Libia was very accommodating and made sure that we took care of all the details of the purchase. As a matter of fact we had lunch together on two occasions .She goes the extra mile to satisfy the customer’s needs. When we got back to the states, she followed up with us. She is the go to person for our next investment in Tulum, Mexico or Playa del Carmen . With out a doubt, I strongly recommend her. (1/5) Beware of working with this agency.I used them to sign on a Tulum property that I still have not received, and they totally stopped support and communication once the commission check was received.In 2022 I signed and paid 90% cash down on an average 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom pre-build and worked with them nearly two years.My agent Libia started as kind in demeanor and supportive in the beginning. I thought it would be good to have someone on your side as an agent, but be prepared for a lot of issues, surprises and unethical practices; The process is not transparent and I lost a lot of money making offers through my agent until i signed — then everything fell apart.(To be clear: I do not have my home at the time of this review, nor will my agent help me finish the process).My build was first delayed by many months from when they verbally agreed it would be ready — and at signing they had outright moved the due date they would have to deliver by nine months, defeating the biggest reason I wanted to sign with them (for reasonably timed ROI). Of course I wasn’t told the date changed until I found the detail in the contract myself — even though Zoom promises they have the best in house legal team for added protection.When I found myself still waiting and paying for a nearby hotel six months after I was supposed to move in, my agent told me that *she* was overwhelmed with the delays in the process, blamed the developers, and had no solutions or even support to offer. She became noticeably less responsive, removed herself from the legal process I was struggling with as an American (but only after I decided not to use her personal legal referral) and was no longer willing to help me get back the $500 I wrongly lost negotiating with a prior complex (previously promising she would take it out of her own commission if she had to).Once she got her commission, I was on my own — with no home, no accountability from Zoom, and no more open lines of communication.I was also very disappointed in the emotional and spiritual manipulation of my agent — at first it was a lot of suggesting that I “deserve” to buy a home and to “trust” that it would all work out. But when it was clear that no contract or person could hold their side of my deal, my agent suggested that I manifested my own fears.Logistically, i thought it would be very helpful to have someone tour you around and set up your appointments. It’s certainly not the same support as a purchasing team in America and as a client you have to have your own diligence to do the research, understand the processes, and hold the respective parties accountable. I knew there would be things out of my control which is why I thought this agency would be a strong collaborator in the process.If you work with Zoom Playa, be prepared for setbacks, extra costs, untangling unrealistic persuasions about buying, and to invest a lot of personal time into seeing the project through yourself. Or, to enter a lengthy legal battle.
